Suzuki Swift (2024) führt Allrad ins Kleinwagensegment ein: Verfügbar ab Oktober
The 2024 Suzuki Swift Now Includes an All-Wheel Drive Option
Dealers will start carrying the first units from October 2024
If you're in the market for a compact car with all-wheel drive capabilities, your options have been limited, especially since the Fiat Panda 4×4 was discontinued. However, Suzuki is stepping up to fill that gap by introducing an all-wheel drive version of their latest Swift model.
Suzuki has long stood out in the small and compact car segment for its four-wheel drive feature. It's important to note that the Swift model does not offer both four-wheel drive and CVT automatic transmission together – they are available separately. The latest version comes with a manual five-speed gearbox and the ALLGRIP AUTO four-wheel system, with prices starting at 20,700 euros. Opting for the four-wheel drive feature will cost an additional 1,800 euros. Customers can expect to find the new models at Suzuki dealerships starting from October 2024.

The standard equipment for the new powertrain option matches that of the Swift Club with front-wheel drive, which begins at 18,900 Euros. Included in this package are features such as a 9-inch touchscreen with a navigation system, both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless ignition, an adaptive cruise control, and LED headlights.
The Suzuki Connect mobile application allows vehicle operators to establish a real-time connection with their car, enabling them to control and access convenient features through their smartphone such as remotely locking the doors or locating the vehicle's current parking spot.
Four-wheel drive within budget:
The vehicle comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features. Standout systems include an advanced active braking aid that relies on dual sensors and can detect frontal collisions and cross-traffic, a lane-keeping alert system that can make steering adjustments and maintain lane positioning, a traffic sign recognition system that alerts the driver both visually and audibly if they exceed speed limits, a blind spot warning system, and a rear cross-traffic alert system that helps prevent collisions when reversing out of a parking spot.
Every trim level features a newly developed 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine delivering 61 kW/82 hp. Here you will find out how the "standard" new Swift performs with its front-wheel drive. Speaking of four-wheel drive, significant Suzuki models in this segment, including Ignis and Jimny, will be discontinued by 2025.
