Retro-Charme trifft Moderne: Ein Einblick in das Interieur des Fiat Grande Panda 2024
A Closer Look at the Interior of the 2024 Fiat Grande Panda
The cabin of the Grande Panda is adorned with a host of quirky, retro-inspired elements ranging from the dashboard to the choice of materials.
The Fiat Grande Panda has evolved significantly from its 1980s namesake. Today, it stands as a compact SUV measuring nearly four meters in length, available in both all-electric and combustion engine hybrid versions. However, the vehicle's interior pays homage to its heritage with numerous vintage design touches.
The Dashboard
A standout feature of the Fiat Grande Panda is its oval-shaped dashboard, drawing design inspiration from Turin's iconic Lingotto race track. This distinctive rectangular oval shape is also dedicated to housing the vehicle's digital 10-inch instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch infotainment display.
Special attention has been paid to maximizing the space within the cabin. The dashboard houses storage compartments totaling 13 liters of space. A 3-liter compartment harks back to the iconic open "hammock" designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro for the 1980 Panda. Gear selection for the automatic transmission is managed by a toggle switch on the center console, which also hosts two USB-C charging ports for passengers and the traditional metal ignition key.
Interior Design and Composition
Within the cabin of the Fiat Grande Panda, one can observe numerous yellow decorative accents delineating the shapes of the air vents, dashboard, and center console.
The playful yet intriguing aspect of the dashboard is the see-through yellow panel located centrally, featuring a climbing silhouette of the original Panda. Additionally, a section of the dashboard, including the glove compartment, is adorned with bamboo fiber.
The front seats, featuring built-in headrests, sport a checkered design, a pattern which is also present on the rear seats. Yellow stitching provides a contrasting detail, complemented by the inscription "Panda made with love in Fiat" also in yellow.

Interior Space
Despite being shorter than the B-segment average of 4.06 meters at just 3.99 meters in length, the Fiat capitalizes on the innovative Smart-Car platform by Stellantis to accommodate five seats and provide ample cargo space.
