The pinnacle of the series, the Epitome boasts a manually-tuned 864 horsepower…
Pagani Automobili's division dedicated to special projects, Grandi Complicazioni, has a revelation to share: the Epitome. True to its name, it represents the peak of Pagani's road technology and marks the first Huayra to be equipped with a manual gearbox.
A customer requested this specific mix, and Pagani is known to happily cater to the highly affluent clientele's desires. The power unit is an AMG-manufactured Pagani V12 engine, which delivers a performance of 864 horsepower (635 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 1,100 Nm.
The Reason He's Dubbed Epitome
The individual who approached Pagani with a request had a precise vision: "He desired to create a distinctive model that epitomizes the essence of the Huayra." Hence, the name Epitome was chosen, signifying the quintessence or embodiment of a concept, idea, or value.

The Huayra Epitome has undergone a visual makeover. Its front bonnet now features unique lighting and a fresh air extraction system positioned within the wheel arch. Additionally, the bumper has been redesigned with a custom-developed splitter upon request to boost downforce and maintain the vehicle's balance during various driving scenarios.
The rear end of the car features expansive side channels and a built-in wing on the hood. This aspect has been completely redesigned in accordance with customer preferences. The wing's new aerodynamic shape, inspired by the research from the Huayra R project, achieves a stable equilibrium during various driving conditions, and the redesigned aerodynamic covering over the taillights is engineered to diminish air resistance.

Mechanical Purity
Pagani's robust engine, a supercharged V12 boasting 864 horsepower (635 kW) with a displacement of 5,980 cc, can rev up to 6,700 rpm to deliver potent performance. As highlighted before, the Epitome stands out as the sole Huayra model fitted with a manual transmission from XTrac, accompanied by an electronically managed differential and a three-piece driveshaft designed for racing.
The flywheel clutch unit is composed of a larger diameter triple-disc clutch for enhanced torque transmission, an electronically controlled differential, and a tri-axial joint derived from racing technology. The Huayra Epitome's novel active suspension system includes a button located in the cockpit on the central tunnel, which can be engaged to increase comfort when navigating bumpy roads.
When the vehicle exceeds speeds of 150 km/h, the shock absorber settings revert to their default state, which varies based on the drive mode selected. The Huayra features a six-way titanium exhaust system that delivers an impressive audio performance from the rear, including a blown diffuser for increased downforce. The car is also fitted with monolithic, forged aluminum alloy wheels paired with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires.
