The revival of the VW Bus, now known as the 2025 VW ID.Buzz, comes with a price tag of $61,545 and can travel up to 234 miles on a single charge.
On Wednesday, Volkswagen announced the 2025 ID.Buzz's price tag of $61,545, which encompasses a $1,550 delivery fee, and revealed it can travel as far as 234 miles on a single charge. The vehicle is set to hit the market later this year, and it should be noted that the price and range values pertain
At the outset, the ID.Buzz is set to be available in three different configurations: Pro S, Pro S Plus, and a special introductory 1st Edition. The base arrangement will include rear-wheel drive, with the option to upgrade to a two-motor setup providing all-wheel drive on the Pro S Plus and the 1st Edition only. All versions destined for the U.S. market will come equipped with three rows of seating, accommodating either six or seven occupants, and will be powered by a 91-kwh battery pack.

The starting price for the Pro S variant is $61,545, equipped with a solo motor at the back that delivers 282 horsepower and has an EPA-rated distance of 234 miles on a single charge. This model, which only has rear-wheel drive, includes a default bench seat in the second row that can accommodate up to seven individuals. Customers can pick from three solid paint options: Candy White, Deep Black Pearl, and Metro Silver, paired with either Copper or Moonlight shades for the interior. The vehicle also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, and features LED lights at both the front and the back.
Each ID.Buzz model will be equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen for entertainment and a 5.3-inch digital display for the dashboard instruments. The central console at the front is designed to be detachable. To ensure all devices stay powered, there are eight USB-C ports with 45-watt capacity and a 12-volt outlet located in the trunk, in addition to a 150-watt 110-volt outlet near the passenger seat.

The Pro S Plus variant is priced at $65,045 and comes with a single rear motor that delivers 282 horsepower. If you choose the dual-motor version, which provides all-wheel drive and boosts power to 335 horsepower, the cost rises to $69,545, but the EPA-estimated range decreases to 231 miles. While it retains the three single-color choices of the base model, an additional $995 allows access to an assortment of two-tone color schemes. As for the cabin, there are options for finishes in Cooper, Moonlight, or Dune hues.
With an additional investment, you can upgrade to include a heads-up display and a panoramic camera setup, as well as a premium 700-watt Harmon Kardon audio system that comes with 14 speakers. The single-motor Pro S Plus variants come with a default second-row bench seat that accommodates seven people, but you have the choice to switch to captain's chairs if preferred. However, if you choose the dual-motor version, the second-row captain's chairs come as a standard feature.
The exclusive 1st Edition variant is priced at $67,045 for the version with one motor, and the dual-motor setup is available for $71,545. Each of these 1st Edition units comes with a Dune-colored interior and a choice of five different dual-shade exterior paints. They are distinguished by a unique 20-inch wheel style, crossbars on the roof rails, special emblems, and floor mats that pay homage to the brand's legacy. The single-motor versions come with a bench seat in the second row, while those with dual motors feature individual captain's chairs.
