The latest iteration of the Ford Capri is a product of its era, built upon Volkswagen's MEB platform, a foundation shared by several of the group's models, leading to an entirely different automobile that embraces electric technology.

Despite its dimensions and the contentious name, the 2024 Ford Capri has a generous amount of space inside for both passengers and luggage. Its size is comparable to a mid-sized SUV, but it doesn't quite reach the oversized category.

The latest Ford Capri measures up at a length of 4.63 meters, putting it in the same size category as the Ford Kuga, the recently updated Opel Grandland, the Honda CR-V, and the VW ID.5. It boasts a width of 1.87 meters, stands at a height of 1.62 meters, and features a wheelbase that spans 2.76 meters. These dimensions ensure a spacious interior that comfortably accommodates taller individuals.

The Ford Capri takes advantage of its electric car base by maximizing interior space, providing ample legroom for passengers in every seat, even beneath its sloping roofline which still accommodates taller individuals without compromise.

However, the small rear window and the especially thick pillars do reduce the amount of light entering the cabin. The seats are uniformly shaped, and the absence of a central tunnel ensures that even those seated in the middle can experience a comfortable ride.
