Rain Thwarts Yamaha’s Private Test Again: Limited Data Gathered Amid Wet Weather Woes
Yamaha's private test session disrupted by rain once more
"Managed just a few laps before the downpour began"
Yamaha's efforts to collect information during a private test on Monday were thwarted by inclement weather.
Alex Rins shared a video on social media showing their unsuccessful efforts to trial the M1 in Valencia.
It marks the second instance where a private Yamaha test has been negatively impacted by rain, following a similar occurrence at Mugello.
Unfortunately, they haven't been able to fully benefit from the additional test days provided by the new concessions regulations.
Due to the weather conditions on Monday, Yamaha's latest aerodynamic components couldn't undergo extensive testing.
"Rins stated on Monday that the rain started just a few laps later."
Yamaha will continue their testing in Valencia on Tuesday.
