Rain Dampens Yamaha’s Hopes Again: Private Test at Valencia Cut Short
Rain disrupts Yamaha's exclusive testing… once more
"Just a few laps in before the onset of rain"
Yamaha's efforts to gather information from an exclusive testing session on Monday were thwarted by inclement weather.
Alex Rins shared a video on social media showcasing their unsuccessful efforts to trial the M1 in Valencia.
For the second occasion, Yamaha's private testing has been impacted negatively by rain, mirroring an earlier incident at Mugello.
This indicates that, regrettably, they have not been able to fully benefit from the additional days of testing granted by the updated concession regulations.
Recently introduced aerodynamic components by Yamaha couldn't undergo extensive testing on Monday, primarily due to weather conditions.
"Rins confirmed on Monday that there were just a few laps left when the rain started."
Yamaha is set for an additional testing day in Valencia on Tuesday.
