Pedro Acosta Aims to Bring Entire Tech3 Crew to Red Bull KTM for Next MotoGP Season
Pedro Acosta is eager to move his entire crew to KTM
Pedro Acosta expresses great enthusiasm in transferring his full team to Red Bull KTM for the upcoming season.
Pedro Acosta aims to bring along as many members of his present GASGAS Tech3 team as he can when he moves to Red Bull KTM for the upcoming MotoGP season.
Acosta has been positioned in the former team section of Pol Espargaro at the Tech3 garage, under the guidance of crew chief Paul Trevathan. Trevathan moved from the main KTM team to join forces again with Espargaro in 2023.
Trevathan, among others, appears poised to team up with Acosta in the ‘orange’ squad for the upcoming season.
"After securing his new contract with KTM, Acosta expressed, "Indeed, now I'm equipped with a factory bike, supported by factory personnel, and backed by a factory team."
"Staying with the [Tech3] team makes sense, yet there's equally a strong argument for moving up to the main factory team."
"I'm extremely pleased with my choice, especially considering that a year ago, I selected KTM as the brand I would transition to MotoGP with."
When questioned specifically about bringing team members along, Acosta emphasized again:
"The entire group. Ultimately, as I frequently mention, our players are orange individuals wearing red outfits."
"I'm thoroughly delighted to have the entire team onboard and maintain our current level of performance."
At present, the 20-year-old holds the position of KTM's leading rider, ranking fifth in the global championship standings.
The identity of his successor remains undisclosed, but there's speculation that Jack Miller might directly take his place. Meanwhile, Enea Bastianini is rumored to be considering the other available position at Tech3 KTM.
