KG Mobility enthüllt neuen Actyon in Südkorea – Europäischer Markt im Visier
The latest KG Mobility Actyon model makes its debut in South Korea
It's built on the Torres platform, measures 4.75 meters in length, and might make its way to Europe in the next few months
KG Mobility, formerly known as the Korean brand SsangYong, has added the new Actyon to its lineup. This SUV, which draws its design from the Torres, has been introduced to the local market with expectations of a European launch in the near future.
The latest generation Actyon stands out with its sleek design and spacious interior, a significant departure from the original 2005 model, which is likely only remembered by true SsangYong aficionados.

The Actyon has adopted its rather boxy appearance from the Torres, featuring a prominent grille that disrupts the flow to the compact LED headlights placed centrally. The silhouette showcases a high and robust waistline, while the 20-inch wheels enhance the commanding stance of this 4.75 meters long, 1.92 meters wide, and 1.68 meters tall SUV, which sits on a wheelbase of 2.68 meters.
The rear design slightly resembles the Range Rover Velar, featuring a slim strip of lights.

The interior appears quite tidy, featuring two 12.3-inch screens for driving data and entertainment options. The leather upholstery comes in a dual-tone color scheme, paired with either wood or carbon fiber trims. Additionally, there's a customizable ambient lighting option that offers a selection from 32 colors.
The trunk space of the KG Mobility Actyon is designed to maximize the vehicle's dimensions, offering 668 liters of capacity. This can be increased to 1,568 liters by folding down the rear seats.
The Actyon features identical engines as the Torres, housing a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that delivers 170 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Consumers in the Korean market can select between front-wheel and all-wheel drive options, although at present, there's no electric model available.

Considering the availability of an electric version of the Torres, it's possible that we could see a zero-emission Actyon in the next few years.
In South Korea, the KG Mobility is being sold for approximately 23,000 Euros. The company will release additional details by the end of 2024 regarding its potential launch in other markets, which may include Europe.
