At BMW M Motorsport, there's a legacy of offering cost-effective yet technically sophisticated entry-level race cars. These vehicles serve as the ideal launching pads for advancing into the higher GT4 and GT3 racing categories. Examples of such models include the BMW M235i Racing, the BMW M240i Racing, and the BMW M2 CS Racing.

BMW M Motorsport's engineering team is currently in the process of designing a fresh vehicle intended to round out their customer racing vehicle collection by serving as an introductory motorsport model.

Additional information about BMW M Motorsport's entry-level vehicle will be disclosed at a future date. For now, they are keeping specifics under wraps, similar to the car's camouflage. The recent G87-M2 now boasts 480 horsepower. The horsepower that the upcoming motorsport version will possess is still undisclosed. Is it possible that it will surpass the 500 horsepower threshold?

We're still anticipating the arrival of a new M2 CS, which has already been spotted in its camouflaged testing form. There's speculation that it might boast 525 horsepower and could serve as a foundation for racing.

In our opinion, this includes providing a vehicle designed for grassroots motorsport that is affordable for both teams and newcomers to racing, while also offering them access to top-tier BMW M Motorsport technology."
