Fernando Alonsos maßgeschneiderter Traum: Der Aston Martin Valiant – Ein limitiertes Rennstreckenwunder mit V12 und manueller Schaltung
Aston Martin is set to release the Valiant model in 2024, featuring a V12 engine and manual transmission.
This vehicle has been specifically requested by Fernando Alonso and will be available in a highly limited edition.
Designed for the racetrack yet approved for road use. That's how the press release introduces the launch of the Aston Martin Valiant, a car that shares visual and technical similarities with the Valour but elevates every aspect to greater heights.
If one has the opportunity to tap into the skills of one of the world's premier and most famous racing drivers, it's an opportunity that should certainly be seized. The latest Aston Martin Valiant has been crafted specifically to the specifications of Fernando Alonso, who races for the Aston Martin Aramco team on Formula 1 circuits globally.
The Spanish sensation was in pursuit of a version of the Valour that was more agile, athletic, and intense. And really, how could one deny a request from a double F1 World Champion and two-time victor of the Le Mans 24 Hours?

Exterior
The Valiant's roots in the Valour model are evident throughout its design, from the front to the rear. Yet, it takes the base model's design and elevates it with a more pronounced edge. The shapes of this British sports car aren't necessarily crafted to win universal appeal – though we find its design quite captivating – but rather to prioritize efficiency. Its contours are designed with purpose: to slice through the air with utmost ease.

From the 21-inch magnesium wheels to the rear spoiler, from the flared fenders to the truncated rear end, each element contributes to aerodynamics. Additionally, weight is a critical factor that has been significantly minimized through the use of carbon fiber for every square centimeter of the bodywork.
Let's not overlook the exhaust system, which is encased by the rear diffuser – four titanium pipes that enhance the V12's already impressive sound.
Interior
The interior of the Aston Martin Valiant is dominated by an exposed gearshift assembly encased in carbon, with its inner workings fully on display – the centerpiece being the 6-speed manual transmission, perfectly matched to the V12 engine. This mechanical marvel creates a truly unique vehicle.
The interior of the vehicle is designed to accommodate just two individuals, as it features a pair of carbon fiber seats. This lightweight material is also utilized for various other aspects of the car's design, complemented by alternating touches of Alcantara, leather, and several other types of materials.

Aston Martin Valiant, the manual transmission
The Aston Martin Valiant is tailor-made for the racetrack, featuring racing harnesses, a built-in half-cage, and a host of other motorsport-inspired components. While it's an analog machine at heart, it doesn't shun digital features, as evidenced by the dual screens for instrumentation and infotainment.
Engine
A 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine lies beneath the hood, boasting 745 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque. It's controlled by a carbon-ceramic braking system featuring 410-mm discs at the front and 360-mm at the rear. Performance specs haven't been released yet, but they're expected to live up to the buzz.
Aside from the engine situated beneath the elongated bonnet, which notably omits any form of electrification, the latest Aston Martin sports car is loaded with technical advancements compared to the Valour model. Take, for instance, the cutting-edge Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) shocks that have the capability to modify the suspension's response almost instantaneously. It's a cleverly designed system derived from racing technology.

Of course, there are also multiple driving modes available, allowing for the customization of numerous aspects such as engine response and tuning to suit any situation and preference.
Prices
The Aston Martin Valiant will have a limited production of just 38 units, with their costs yet to be disclosed. Given that its predecessor, the Valour, commanded a price of more than one million euros, it's quite possible that this more advanced model could easily surpass 1.5 million euros.
The vehicle is set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it will take on the iconic English hill climb with superstar Fernando Alonso behind the wheel, who is both the godfather and the first client of the car.
