Enea Bastianini Set for Game-Changing Move to Tech3 GASGAS with Official KTM Bike for 2025 Season
Enea Bastianini Finalizing Intriguing Future Plans
Enea Bastianini to ride an official bike in a satellite team, according to his manager
Enea Bastianini's manager has announced that they are nearing the completion of locking down his seat for the 2025 season.
In 2025, Marc Marquez will take over Bastianini's spot on the Ducati factory team.
In the midst of the controversy over Ducati's choice to bring Marquez on board, they saw Jorge Martin move to Aprilia, along with Bastianini.
Bastianini is poised to join Tech3 GASGAS, yet his representative emphasizes that moving to a satellite team won't be a downgrade in equipment quality.
"Carlo Pernat has confirmed to Motosprint that there is a deal in place with KTM to provide Enea with an official KTM."
"We're finalizing the specifics, but I can confirm that Enea will be competing with KTM for the upcoming season."
Next year, Pedro Acosta will move up from Tech3 GASGAS to join Brad Binder in KTM's official factory team.
The future prospects of Jack Miller and Augusto Fernandez remain uncertain – however, it's expected that at least one will leave if Bastianini joins the team.
"Pernat hinted, 'I've secured a deal with KTM for an official motorcycle, but that's all I can disclose at the moment.'"
"The declaration is expected to be made within the week."
Pramac's Martin has inked a deal with Aprilia's official team for the 2025 season, stepping in for the departing Aleix Espargaro.
However, Maverick Vinales' next steps remain undecided, indicating that Aprilia might need another rider for their factory team.
However, Bastianini's representative emphasizes that he won't push too hard in talks with various makers.
"Pernat definitively stated, 'Absolutely not, we haven't reached out to another house at all.'"
As a manager with a particular approach, I believe it's essential that the announcement is always made by the organization, but only after first discussing it with the contractor.
"I don't belong to the category of managers who introduce a racer to the Aprilia team mid-season, by having them ride along in the Aprilia truck with another Aprilia racer, as it doesn't align with professional standards."
"Agreements have been made which need to be honored."
"Clearly, I'll refrain from mentioning specific individuals, but it's important to note that my conduct towards others has always been proper and remains so."
