Aleix Espargaro Bets on Jorge Martin to Bring MotoGP Title to Aprilia in Stunning Team Switch

Aleix Espargaro is confident that Jorge Martin is the key Aprilia has been looking for to secure a MotoGP championship victory.

Aprilia's remarkable agreement to secure MotoGP frontrunner Jorge Martin caught many off guard, especially since he seemed poised to clinch the spot as Francesco Bagnaia's partner at Ducati.

The honor of joining the Lenovo Ducati team in 2025 has been bestowed upon Marc Marquez, as Martin steps in to fill the shoes of Aleix Espargaro, who plans to retire following the current season.

Espargaro played a crucial part in getting Martin to join Aprilia, confessing that he put in significant effort to persuade Martin on the Sunday evening after the Italian MotoGP race in Mugello.
