Marc Marquez faced a direct inquiry regarding the 2025 Ducati position.

When asked if he had secured the victory in the competition for the much-desired red motorcycle during Monday's Mugello test, Marquez's inquiry came just before Aprilia revealed they had successfully acquired Martin for the 2025 season.
Marquez stated, "This is the most significant uncertainty. I'm silent.
"I mentioned having several thoughts when we spoke last Thursday in Mugello."
"I remain silent. I'm giving it my all. There are select scenarios where I find myself at ease."
"I'm making an effort to give it my all in order to expand my opportunities."
With Martin committing to Aprilia for the upcoming season, it's a foregone conclusion that Marquez will secure the spot at the factory Ducati team, partnering with Pecco Bagnaia.
"Riding was out of the question"
Marquez's immediate focus, even before considering the challenges of 2025, is to compete for the championship this season.
He's competing on a one-year-old Ducati, facing off with Gresini against the GP24s ridden by Bagnaia, Martin, and Enea Bastianini.
Inclement weather during Monday's testing session at Mugello hindered Marquez's progress in advancing his motorcycle.
"I stepped outside briefly, merely to grasp one concept from the beginning," he explained.
"I engaged in a few trial initiations. We comprehend. Thus, it is completed.
We were on standby to head out. I switched my outfit once more, opting for my leather gear as the track began to dry up.
Once more, a downpour occurred, making it unfeasible to cycle.
"Our options for experimentation were limited. The goal was always to evaluate, to experience, but we found ourselves unable to proceed."
"We had something quite minor. We didn't get the chance to test it. We need to figure out whether to implement it in the upcoming races."
Marquez shared his thoughts on adjusting to the GP23, expressing, "I'm really comfortable on the bike. When we were in Jerez, it felt as though the bike and I were a single entity."
Certainly, on certain circuits, I find it more challenging, such as at Le Mans and Catalunya.
"In Mugello, it became clear from Friday that I was a strong competitor right from the start.
Nonetheless, there are minor details to grasp.
"However, mastering the skill of cycling and achieving the speed necessary for racing is something I grasp."
"These are merely minor aspects."
Following the weekend's MotoGP race in Italy, Marquez currently holds the third position in the MotoGP rankings, with Martin positioned at the top.
