Sky Italia has reported that Bastianini, compelled to seek out a new team for the upcoming season, is expected to reveal his future plans in the days ahead.
KTM's associate team has successfully secured Bastianini's agreement.
"Carlo Pernat, the manager of Enea Bastianini, has confirmed in an interview with Italy's Radio Rai that Bastianini will be on an official KTM bike next season."
It is anticipated that by 2025, KTM might operate four bikes of factory specification, effectively blurring the lines between their main team and their affiliate team.
Thus, while Bastianini is set to transition to an affiliate team, he will receive the equivalent equipment and support as the main riders in KTM's lineup.
KTM has announced that Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta will be the official team members for the 2025 racing season.
Bastianini showcased his talent during the Italian MotoGP this past weekend, which took place in his home country.
In an impressive maneuver during the final moments, he advanced from fourth to second place, skillfully overtaking Marquez and Martin, rather unexpectedly.
Despite his impressive maneuver, his destiny was already determined. It was said that his status with the factory Ducati team for the following year had already been revoked.
Bastianini is currently in his sophomore season donning the color red.
His first year was marred by an injury sustained during the initial race of 2023. It can be argued that his career with Ducati has not fully rebounded from that incident.
Recollections remain vivid from 2022, when Bastianini, competing for Gresini at the time, secured the second-highest number of race victories, trailing only behind the champion, Pecco Bagnaia.
He aims to replicate this performance next season with the Tech3 squad.
