**”Aprilia Emerges as MotoGP Title Contender Amid Ducati’s Rider Market Misstep”**
Aprilia predicted to contend for championship following Ducati's missteps in the rider market
"Aprilia is known for their loyalty and support towards their riders, which is exactly what riders seek."
Ducati's mistake in the rider market could make Aprilia a serious contender for the MotoGP championship next year, they have been cautioned.
Aprilia stands to gain the most from Ducati's reversal of their decision, which resulted in offering their 2025 factory spot to Marc Marquez.
Jorge Martin, who was their initial choice, has opted to join Aprilia instead.
Commentator Simon Crafar believes that Martin has the potential to make Aprilia a serious competitor for the championship, stating, "I completely concur. Massimo Rivola has executed a brilliant move!"
"In my opinion, Ducati, the larger corporation, has made mistakes in the rider market."
“They spent a considerable amount of time making a decision. This frustrated Jorge.”
With assistance from his good friend Aleix, he managed to bring Jorge, who was in a bad mood, to Aprilia and finalize the agreement.
"Aprilia is creating a bike that appeals to riders. Massimo has played a significant role in this. Since 2019, he has transformed it into a factory team, and each year it has shown substantial improvement."
"Currently, cyclists are eager to use it."
"They are well-known for their loyalty and for taking care of their riders, which is exactly what riders seek."
"They might pose a danger to everyone down the line, despite currently being a minor group."
This week, Aprilia acted swiftly and cleverly to secure Martin after it became evident that he had missed the opportunity for the factory Ducati position.
According to Ducati, they've sacrificed Martin and Enea Bastianini to focus on retaining Marquez.
Martin, riding a factory-spec Desmosedici for Pramac, is at the forefront of the MotoGP championship after seven rounds this season.
Last year, he came very close to winning the title but lost to Pecco Bagnaia in the final round. However, this year, he has a chance to improve on that performance.
His midseason agreement with Aprilia for 2025 promises to intensify the championship battle against Bagnaia and Marquez.
Aprilia has positioned itself as the main competitor to the leading Ducatis this season, surpassing KTM.
Maverick Vinales secured a grand prix victory in Texas, and both he and Aleix Espargaro have also triumphed in sprint races.
The statement implies that Martin will be riding a very competitive bike next year, although Ducati's complete lineup of riders has not yet been confirmed.
