Peugeot Unveils Pricing for 2024 Combustion Engine Models 3008 and 5008 Amidst Hybrid Market Shift
Peugeot is set to release their latest models, the 3008 and 5008, which will utilize the new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis, designed to accommodate fully electric vehicles as well as traditional combustion engine options. Currently, the only available gasoline option includes a 48V mild-hybrid system. The pricing for these mild-hybrid gasoline versions in Germany has now been revealed.
Unfortunately, so far Peugeot has only released images of the electric versions. The combustion engine models will differ visually, but only in minor specific details.
The Peugeot 3008, measuring 4.54 meters in length, has seen over 1.32 million units sold across 130 countries in the past seven years, competing in size with the VW Tiguan. The latest 3008 model comes in a fully electric version starting at €48,650 for the Allure trim level. A hybrid version featuring 48V hybrid technology can be purchased starting at €39,250.

The latest 3008 model comes equipped with Peugeot's innovative Panorama i-Cockpit feature. It boasts an impressive floating 21-inch HD curved panoramic display (measuring 53.3 cm) that comes standard on the GT model, merging the digital dashboard and the expansive central touchscreen. The electric 3008 offers a boot space of 520 liters, which can expand up to 1,480 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
The latest Peugeot E-3008 model is built on Stellantis's fresh STLA Medium platform, which is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 680 kilometers, along with a charging period of just 30 minutes. It also includes a suite of connected services like Trip Planner, Smart Charging, Vehicle to Load, and the convenience of wireless updates. The hybrid version features an advanced 1.2-liter petrol engine with an output of 100 kW (136 horsepower), combined with a 48-volt battery that recharges while driving, potentially reducing fuel consumption by up to 15 percent.

The latest Peugeot 5008 measures 4.79 meters in length, matching the size of the Skoda Kodiaq. According to the manufacturer, the electric version, named E-5008, starts at €51,150 for the Allure trim level. Moreover, the new 5008 comes with an option of a 48V hybrid system, with prices beginning at €42,250.
The latest Peugeot E-5008 has been designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle, boasting a selection of all-electric engines that promise a driving range of 500 to 660 kilometers. The lineup includes an all-wheel drive dual-motor option and a long-range variant.
The two-wheel drive models are available with outputs of 157 kW (345 Nm) or 170 kW (345 Nm). The four-wheel drive version, powered by two motors, delivers a combined output of 237 kW, with the front motor contributing 157 kW and the rear motor providing 80 kW. The torque output for the front motor is 345 Nm, while the rear motor produces 170 Nm.

The latest hybrid technology featured in the 5008 mirrors that of the 3008 model. Officially termed as the 1.2 HYBRID 136 e-DSC6, it integrates a potent PureTech gasoline engine delivering 100 kW (136 horsepower) with a 48-Volt battery system, all connected to an electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission known as the e-DSC6.
