Novitec’s Ultimate Touch: Maserati MC20 Cielo Hits 100 in 2.8 Seconds
Maserati MC20 Cielo: Now Reaches 100 in 2.8 Seconds Thanks to Novitec
The luxury car tuner provides the final touches…
You've already got a pretty powerful machine, and then, yet again, a tuning company can't resist making their mark. This time, Italian experts at Novitec extensively enhance the Maserati MC20 Cielo.
The acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) is now quicker, improved from just under three seconds to 2.8. An additional 81 horsepower is added to the already considerable 630, resulting in a total of 711 horsepower for the 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine. This equates to a robust 237 horsepower per liter. The peak torque has been increased to 818 Newton-meters.

The performance enhancement propels this Maserati supercar to a top speed of 325 km/h. You'll want to secure your hairstyle tightly for this ride. These improvements are achieved through modifications to the injection maps, boost pressure control, and ignition.
To ensure that this power firmly grips the road, Novitec has equipped the MC20 Cielo with 21-inch forged wheels featuring ten dual spokes, created in partnership with the American company Vossen specifically for this high-performance car. With front tires sized 255/30 ZR 21 and rear tires at 325/25 ZR 21, this objective is likely to be achieved. For those who prefer colors other than gold, there are 72 additional shades to select from, offering ample choice.
Regarding gold: a high-performance exhaust system equipped with exhaust valves ensures the appropriate acoustic experience. Those who can afford it have the option to upgrade to a super-light system coated in 999 fine gold, which utilizes Inconel, a material also employed in Formula 1. And since Novitec is already customizing, any unique requests from clients, including exclusive interiors, are certainly catered to.
Additional Details on Novitec's Modifications
To minimize lift at high speeds, the supercar experts designed a front spoiler that attaches to the standard bumper. A rear spoiler at the back ensures adequate "Downforce". Carbon air intakes now adorn the hood. Additionally, the MC20 Cielo has been lowered by another 25 millimeters to the ground.
Novitec has not disclosed the costs associated with the modifications. However, it's likely that someone who spent approximately 280,000 euros on the vehicle won't be overly concerned about the price of tuning when inquiring.
