Marc Marquez faced a direct question concerning the Ducati seat for the 2025 racing season.
Marquez is expected to join Ducati’s factory team next year, following a surprising series of events on Monday that ended with Jorge Martin officially joining Aprilia.
A few days back, it appeared that Martin would receive the factory Ducati motorcycle, but this changed when Marquez declined to move to Pramac.

On Monday, during the Mugello test, Marquez was asked if he had secured the highly sought-after red bike. This inquiry came just before Aprilia revealed that they had signed Martin for the 2025 season.
Marquez stated, "This is the most significant uncertainty. I have no further comments."
"I shared some thoughts last Thursday in Mugello."
"I tend to be reserved. I'm giving my all. There are certain scenarios where I feel at ease."
“Alright, I am giving my all to increase my chances.”
However, since Martin has officially committed to joining Aprilia for the next season, it seems certain that Marquez will secure the factory Ducati seat next to Pecco Bagnaia.
'Riding was out of the question'
Before focusing on 2025, Marquez's main goal is to compete for the championship this season.
He is riding a Ducati from last year with the Gresini team, competing against the GP24 models ridden by Bagnaia, Martin, and Enea Bastianini.
Rain during Monday's test session at Mugello hindered Marquez's progress in refining his bike.
"I stepped out briefly, just to grasp one thing from the beginning," he mentioned.
"I practiced some starts. We comprehend. It’s completed."
"We were standing by to head out. I changed my outfit once more and put on my leather gear since the track began to dry up."
"Once more, a downpour began. Riding was out of the question."
"We had limited options to experiment with. It was all about testing and riding, but we couldn't make any changes."
"We had a minor issue and couldn't test it. We need to determine if we will incorporate it in the upcoming races."
Marquez commented on his adjustment to the GP23, stating, "I feel extremely comfortable with the bike. As I mentioned in Jerez, I feel as though I am an integral part of the bike."
"Naturally, I face more challenges on certain tracks, such as Le Mans and Catalunya."
“At Mugello, we realized as early as Friday that I was performing well right from the start.
"Nevertheless, there are minor aspects to grasp."
"But I do know how to ride the bike and maintain the race pace."
"It's merely minor specifics."
Following the Italian MotoGP held over the weekend, Marquez has secured third place in the MotoGP rankings, with Martin currently in the lead.
