According to Sky Italia, Bastianini, who must secure a different team for the next season, is expected to reveal his new plans soon.
KTM's affiliated team has successfully secured a contract with Bastianini.
Enea Bastianini is set to ride an official KTM motorcycle next year, as confirmed by his manager Carlo Pernat during an interview with Italy's Radio Rai.
It is anticipated that by 2025, KTM might have four factory-spec motorcycles, thus minimizing the distinction between their official team and their satellite team.
Thus, even though Bastianini is expected to join a satellite team, he will receive identical equipment and support to that of KTM’s main riders.
KTM has announced that Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta will be their official riders for the 2025 season.
Over the weekend, during the Italian MotoGP, Bastianini showcased his talent once again at his home race.
In a remarkable move, he advanced from fourth place to second place towards the end, skillfully overtaking Marquez and Martin, interestingly enough.
Even though the move was impressive, his future was already determined. Reports indicated that he was set to lose his factory Ducati status the following year.
Bastianini is in his sophomore year donning the red attire.
His first year was marred by injury after he got hurt in the opening race of 2023. Some might say his time with Ducati has never fully bounced back from that setback.
Recollections remain vivid from 2022 when Bastianini, then racing for Gresini, secured the second-highest number of victories, just behind the champion, Pecco Bagnaia.
He aims to replicate that performance next year with the Tech3 team.
