Right at the launch of the new BMW M5, the company is also showcasing what its in-house accessory program has in store for the generous plug-in hybrid. With BMW M Performance Parts tailored specifically for the model, the focus is on enhancing not just the muscular look but also fine-tuning the aerodynamic equilibrium.

The new BMW M5 is expected to deliver exceptional performance, thanks to its plug-in hybrid engine that boasts a maximum output of 535 kW (727 hp) and a peak system torque of 1,000 Nm. To further enhance its sporty appearance and personalize its style, a variety of BMW M Performance Parts made from advanced, weight-reducing materials are available right from the start, in addition to the M Carbon exterior package offered as standard.

The standout feature in the range of M Performance Accessories for the latest M5 is the two-piece M Performance rear diffuser made of carbon, which is notably prominent. Together with the M Performance tailpipe trims also crafted from carbon, it enhances the rear view of the high-performance sedan with a look that's both contemporary and exceptionally athletic. The tailpipe trims are made from a blend of titanium and carbon materials, and with their titanium milled end rings and embossed M5 emblem, BMW says they exude "a particularly strong and robust" presence.

The M Performance Carbon Rear Diffuser is available as an addition to the rear spoiler included in the M Carbon exterior package, or alongside the M Performance Pro Carbon rear spoiler also available as a retrofit option. This ensures meticulously optimized airflow during high-speed driving scenarios.

Also featured in the lineup is the M Performance carbon fiber front attachment. This piece can be paired with either of the two rear spoiler options available. The two-part M Performance carbon fiber front attachment further accentuates the central lower air intake, which, in the latest version of this high-performance vehicle, is newly divided by a central bar.

The M Performance Carbon side skirt attachments accentuate the athletic lines of the car's profile. To create a harmonious overall look, they can be paired with the M Carbon exterior mirror caps. All carbon components are meticulously handcrafted. They are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), sealed with a clear coat for a premium finish.

Enhancement Components for the Upcoming 2024 BMW M5 from M Performance

The appearance of the latest BMW M5 can be further accentuated with the addition of the M Performance side decals in Frozen Black. This premium-quality set of films is durable enough to withstand car washes. For a visually striking effect on the car's roof, there's also an antenna cover made from an exclusive composite fiber material, Aramid. Furthermore, starting from summer 2025, M Performance lightweight alloy wheels will also be available for the new BMW M5.

The retrofit products have undergone testing in accordance with BMW's quality standards and have been approved in conjunction with the entire vehicle, eliminating the need for a separate registration with the vehicle licensing authority.
