The leading theoretical publication of the Communist Party has underscored the danger posed by "destabilizing" external entities aiming to sway China's young people, by publishing parts of a speech delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping six years earlier.
During his address at the 2018 National Education Conference, Xi Jinping criticized certain groups for attempting to "Westernize" Chinese young people and orchestrate a "color revolution." He emphasized the importance of teaching ideology in schools.
