Showdown in Philadelphia: Harris and Trump Face Off in Pivotal Presidential Debate
Harris and Trump Set for Crucial Pre-Election Debate
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are scheduled for a pivotal debate on Tuesday evening, with the presidential election just weeks away.
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and the Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, are set to face off in a debate on Tuesday. This event comes shortly after a pivotal moment that led to President Joe Biden withdrawing from the race a few weeks earlier.
ABC News' "World News Tonight" host David Muir, along with anchor Linsey Davis, will oversee the proceedings at the National Constitution Center, a private non-profit educational institution and museum in Philadelphia that focuses on the foundational document of the United States.
The South China Morning Post will maintain a live blog during the entirety of the debate.
The discussion, scheduled to begin at 9pm ET and last for 90 minutes, provides the participants an opportunity to establish a decisive advantage in a race that is still tightly contested.
