**Thrills and Spills at Aragon: Binder’s Rolling Burnout and Miller’s Rins Encounter Highlight Dramatic Weekend**
Brad Binder: “I did another rolling burnout!”, Jack Miller: “Got overtaken by Rins”
Brad Binder: "I thought up a perfect strategy last night to avoid spinning at the start…"
Brad Binder had his most successful MotoGP weekend since the start of the season in Qatar, finishing in 4th and 6th place at Aragon.
This occurred even though he went off track in both races, although his seventh-place finish was achieved from a relatively better starting position on a cluttered grid.
Binder trailed rookie Pedro Acosta during the middle portion of the race, turning their contest into a fight for third place after Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia collided with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained just beyond reach.
Binder smiled as he recounted his strategy from the previous night, explaining that he aimed to avoid losing control at the start and ended up doing a rolling burnout just like he did the day before.
"I was able to navigate carefully and overtake several riders. Avoiding errors was challenging since the front tire was overheating while trailing others until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to recover lost time by speeding up as I exited corners since entering them quickly wasn't an option due to the front overheating. However, this strategy backfired, and ultimately, the left side of the tire was completely worn out."
"I put in my utmost effort to overtake Pedro, but there was no room left behind!"
"Besides that, we took several encouraging strides forward this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the race."
Jack Miller, who started the race in 15th position, quickly advanced to eighth place by the conclusion of the first lap. However, the Australian rider soon faced difficulties with maintaining rear traction.
After missing the ninth spot to Alex Rins during the final lap, he was one of three racers penalized with a 16-second post-race penalty for tyre pressure violations, which relegated him to 15th place.
“It was quite a lengthy race,” noted Miller. “The track conditions have varied once more. It was mostly dirty throughout the weekend, but today it felt even slicker.”
"I gave it my all. It was really challenging to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a significant highside incident while exiting the final turn."
"I found my pace and focused on maintaining it. There were several challenges moving from the tire's edge to its center, but I managed to finish successfully."
"There were no errors during the race, but I found it difficult to keep up with the guys ahead. We'll continue to push forward."
"I'm pleased to finish in the top ten, but it was disappointing to get passed by Rins on the back straight during the final lap. I tried my best to be exact, but I didn't get a good drive, and he managed to outpace me down the straight."
"We will return to Misano again."
KTM’s lineup will expand to five riders this weekend with the addition of test rider Pol Espargaro as a wild-card entry.
"Head to Misano now, keeping in mind the upcoming test and Pol's wildcard, which will provide us with some future assistance," stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial round of the Misano MotoGP is set to begin with Binder trailing Acosta by three points, with Acosta currently in fifth place in the world championship standings.
Miller, who might be formally announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, is currently in 15th place and just three points behind Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo.
