Red Bull Parts Ways with F3 Newcomer Kacper Sztuka After Just Four Races
Red Bull ends partnership with young racer following a brief stint
Red Bull parts ways with Kacper Sztuka early into the Formula 3 season
Red Bull has ended their agreement with their young driver, Kacper Sztuka.
The young Polish racer, who is competing in Formula 3 this year, has seen his contract with Formula 1's leading team terminated after just four competitions.
Sztuka became a part of Red Bull just seven months prior.
In November 2023, Red Bull secured Sztuka following his victory in the Italian Formula 4 championship.
However, during this season in F3, he has only managed to score points in one of his initial four appearances.
He remains a driver for MP Motorsport in the F3 series this year, but will not be supported by Red Bull any longer.
The driver stated, "I was eager to update you on my progress and upcoming events in Formula 3 for this season. A few weeks ago, my agreement with Red Bull's junior program came to an end, initiated by the partner's decision.
Throughout the duration of our collaboration, everyone who worked closely with me consistently gave positive evaluations of my initiation, contribution to the team, and the advancements I achieved.
"I'm immensely grateful to all the individuals who have contributed to the project I've been engaged with since November 2023."
The recent ruling has no impact on the evaluation of the MP Motorsport team or our initial strategies. For the 2024 season, with the backing of my sponsors, my aim is to participate in every upcoming race of the FIA Formula 3 Championship and to further my growth as a driver, both in terms of my performance during races and my personal development beyond the track.
"My resolve to become the quickest, to triumph, and to eventually compete alongside the world's top drivers is steadfast.
"Gratitude for your encouraging messages. We're approaching the last phase of getting ready for the Barcelona race. Looking forward to meeting you at the circuit!"
