Andrea Stella, the team principal for McLaren F1, has received an extension on his contract for multiple years.

At the conclusion of the 2022 Formula One season, Stella took over the role of team principal from Andreas Seidl.

Under the guidance of their Italian leader, McLaren has experienced a significant revival in their standings.

Starting off as the least rapid squad at the beginning of 2023, McLaren could now be considered the quickest team in Formula 1.

They stand a strong chance in this year's global championship, trailing Red Bull by just 42 points in the team standings.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have both secured multi-year contracts, ensuring stability at McLaren.
