Charles Leclerc clinched his third pole position in his career during the Monaco Grand Prix, narrowly outperforming Oscar Piastri to claim the leading position. Heading into the practice sessions, Leclerc was the favorite, and he delivered his top performance in the final qualifying session, Q3.
Piastri transformed his rapid speed into a starting position on the front row, surpassing Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris in the qualifying session. George Russell secured the fifth starting spot, just in front of Max Verstappen, who made contact with the barrier during his last attempt in Q3.
Lewis Hamilton secures the seventh spot on the grid, just in front of Yuki Tsunoda, as Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly both shine by advancing into Q3.
