**”Unseen Footage Reveals the Shocking Reason Behind Jorge Martin’s Pitlane Gamble at San Marino MotoGP”**
Jorge Martin discloses a fresh reason behind his pitlane choice after an astonishing "what the f***" moment
Recently unveiled video offers a different viewpoint
Newly uncovered video has exposed an additional factor behind Jorge Martin's ill-fated choice to head to the pits during the San Marino MotoGP last weekend.
Martin was the initial racer to respond to the rain by heading to the pitlane to switch his tyres.
The decision had unintended consequences when the track quickly dried, resulting in Martin falling to 15th place. Meanwhile, his championship competitors, Marc Marquez, who took first place, and Pecco Bagnaia, who finished second, improved their positions in the standings.
Martin received comfort in his garage afterward with the words, “That’s just how it is, man…”
He replied, "Afterward, I had no choice but to wait. I couldn't overtake anyone unless they released me."
"After Vinales was behind me, I came to a halt. However, I picked up speed again later."
It's just one point. Damn it!
"I can consistently complete laps in just over 1 minute and 35 seconds without difficulty."
Recently published video clips captured an open conversation between Martin and Bagnaia just after the race concluded.
“Pecco, dude… seriously,” Martin said, nearly at a loss for words.
Bagnaia responded, saying, “When I noticed you entering, I thought to myself, ‘What on earth is he doing!’”
Martin disclosed that he anticipated Bagnaia would be the one to make the first pit stop. He mentioned, "The rain was pouring heavily. I figured, 'He signaled with his leg, so he must be planning to stop…'"
Bagnaia clarified: "I wanted to make contact."
Martin exclaimed, "However, when I stepped outside, the rain had stopped. Unbelievable!"
Bagnaia remarked, "The weather is capable of shifting in an instant."
Additional recent video clips captured Bagnaia in a private discussion with his engineers, as Marquez celebrated in the background.
Bagnaia was informed: “Damn, if you had entered the pit lane, we would have been screwed!”
The MotoGP champion responded, "It's fortunate that we didn't."
Bagnaia was questioned: "Did it cross your mind?"
He remarked, "There wasn't a scent of rain in the air."
