According to recent data, the Conservative Party has accepted a donation of £50,000 from a company associated with Prakash Hinduja, a billionaire businessman who has been found guilty of criminal activities.
The Electoral Commission disclosed that the Conservative Party received £225,587 from individual contributors in the final week of the general election campaign, summing up their contributions to £1.8 million.
The largest individual contribution was made by a company named Westminster Development Services.

Based on information from Companies House, AMC Project Services Limited, which is owned by Mr. Hinduja, holds up to a 50% stake in the property consortium.
Last month in Switzerland, he and three family members were incarcerated for mistreating household staff at their Geneva estate.
Nonetheless, the Swiss criminal court acquitted Mr. Hinduja, his wife Kamal, their son Ajay, and his wife Namrata of more severe allegations involving human trafficking concerning their domestic workers.

The top contributor to the Labour Party over the past week was ex-professional poker player Derek Web, who donated £250,000. This was closely followed by contributions of £100,000 each from the GMB and the Fire Brigades Union.
As the campaign period ended, the Liberal Democrats were given £156,203 in contributions, including a significant £100,000 from GADF Holdings, a food company. Meanwhile, Reform UK raised £45,000, with businessman Philip Hulme contributing £25,000 of that total.
Under electoral regulations, officially recognized political parties are required to file four weekly reports detailing any donations and loans they receive that exceed £11,180.
