Conservatives commit £20 million to each of 30 towns.
In a recent announcement, the Conservative Party has proposed to expand their ongoing urban development initiative by including an additional 30 towns, primarily located in the Midlands and the North, into their strategy. This expansion will raise the total of towns benefiting from fiscal aid to over 100.
The prime minister stated that the "decisive measures" would "revolutionize" the towns, accusing the Labour Party of showing indifference towards towns during their governance by "ignoring their requirements, permitting their deterioration, and instead prioritizing cities."
"He claimed that Sir Keir Starmer lacks a strategy to create opportunities in towns and would reset progress to the beginning."
"Expanding on our solid history of promoting growth in Teesside and the Midlands, we are committed to extending our efforts nationwide to ensure a stable future for the coming generations."
