Red Bull Unveils Fan-Designed ‘Stallion Red’ Livery for British GP at Silverstone
Red Bull showcases unique fan-created livery for British Grand Prix
This weekend at Silverstone, Red Bull's cars will sport a distinctive livery designed by fans.
Red Bull has revealed a unique, limited-edition design for their Formula 1 cars, which will be featured at the British Grand Prix this weekend.
This marks the debut of three fan-created REBL CUSTMS liveries that Red Bull plans to showcase throughout the 2024 season, with unique designs also set to appear in Singapore and Austin later in the year.
The Silverstone paint scheme, known as “Stallion Red,” was created by Chalaj Suvanish from Thailand. According to Red Bull, its design draws inspiration from the team’s 2015 ‘Camo Bull’ livery, which was featured during pre-season testing that year.
Both Max Verstappen's and Sergio Perez's cars will showcase it during the entire Silverstone weekend.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner announced, "After the success of our personalized fan liveries last year, we are excited to feature fan-designed liveries on our cars again for the 2024 season."
"REBL CUSTMS has given our dedicated fans a unique opportunity with the RB20, and The Paddock has made their dreams a reality. Our supporters are central to everything we do, and I am thrilled they can be such a crucial part of our story."
"I observed all the submissions coming in and it's amazing to witness the innovation and creativity of The Paddock members displayed so vividly. As we celebrate our 20th season in the sport, this is a fitting homage to the past years, and I'm excited to see the RED Bull in action at Silverstone this weekend."
Suvanish explained, “I decided to join the REBL CUSTMS contest because getting to create a livery for my favorite team is a unique chance that only comes around once.”
"I feel incredibly fortunate to have won, and now I have the chance to witness a race in person, which is still hard for me to grasp. Not only do I get to attend a Formula 1 race, but I also get to see the car I designed on the track! I incorporated red into the car's design to symbolize the energy and power shown in the Red Bull logo, and I drew inspiration from the use of flow-vis paint in aerodynamic testing."
"I really enjoy seeing Oracle Red Bull Racing secure victories, and I can't put into words what it would be like to see them triumph in my colors."
