Pramac Boss Gino Borsoi Clears the Air on Yamaha Switch, Marc Marquez, and Fermin Aldeguer Speculations
Pramac's leader shares insights on Yamaha, Marc Marquez, and Fermin Aldeguer speculation
Gino Borsoi clarifies several important issues within the MotoGP circuit
Pramac team's leader, Gino Borsoi, has shared his perspective on the speculations circulating about his squad.
Pramac is rumored to potentially join forces with Yamaha as their satellite team by 2025. However, should they continue their partnership with Ducati, they are also speculated to possibly bring Marc Marquez on board.
Borsoi has firmly indicated that Pramac won't be partnering with Yamaha.
"Borsoi explained to Motosprint, "We're part of the official team's brotherhood."
"The divide between our perspectives extends beyond mere financial debate."
"Altering it wouldn't be logical."
Jorge Martin of Pramac is engaged in a tight three-way competition for the official 2025 Ducati slot.
Ducati's present team member Enea Bastianini and Gresini's own Marc Marquez are currently engaged in a competition.
Borsoi has shown support for Martin, his present jockey, to secure the position in the upcoming year.
"Borsoi stated that he is the ideal partner for Pecco Bagnaia, without diminishing the qualities of the other contenders."
Martin is at the forefront of the MotoGP championship as it progresses to its sixth stage in Barcelona this weekend.
Bagnaia trails by 38 points, while Bastianini and Marquez are 40 points behind Martin.
"Borsoi commented, 'He stands out as the most formidable competitor in MotoGP, exhibiting maturity, a well-rounded skill set, strategic sophistication, and exceptional speed."
Should Martin secure a position as a Ducati team rider, Marquez's prospects remain uncertain.
Marquez's wish for a factory-spec motorcycle next year might be realized at Pramac.
Borsoi remarked, "Who wouldn't desire an eight-time world champion?"
We're discussing the top achiever in the field, boasting a 125cc championship, a Moto2 victory, and six titles in the premier division.
"Physically, he has made a strong recovery and shows great speed on the Desmosedici."
Fermin Aldeguer is also being considered as a potential contender for the 2025 MotoGP rider roster.
Ducati has secured a promising Moto2 rider for its top-tier team next season, though it's yet to be announced where he will be placed.
Aldeguer anticipates becoming a part of Pramac, he has asserted, though a lot hinges on the outcomes involving Martin, Marquez, and the team's rumored negotiations with Yamaha.
Borsoi characterized Aldeguer as "youthful, skilled, and full of potential, mirroring Pramac's journey with Borgo Panigale."
"We allow newcomers to develop, subsequently placing them within the formal framework. It all fits together logically."
