Starting positions for the F1 Spanish Grand Prix: The race order after three penalties
Here is the starting lineup for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.
* Sergio Perez received a three-position grid penalty for operating his Red Bull car in an unsafe manner following a crash during the Canadian Grand Prix.
Logan Sargeant received a three-position grid penalty for obstructing Lance Stroll during the first qualifying session (Q1).
Alex Albon is set to begin the race from the pit lane due to a violation of parc ferme regulations.
Logan Sargeant received a three-position grid penalty for obstructing Lando Norris during the qualifying session. However, since Sargeant secured the 20th position in qualifying, he cannot be demoted any further.
Lando Norris is set to begin the race from pole position for only the second time in his Formula 1 career, while Max Verstappen from Red Bull will line up beside him on the front row in Barcelona.
Lewis Hamilton will start from the third position, with his Mercedes teammate George Russell joining him on the second row of the grid.
