An individual who hurled objects at Nigel Farage throughout his campaign has escaped a jail sentence.
Josh Greally, aged 28, received a six-week jail term, which has been suspended for a year, at his sentencing on Wednesday in Barnsley Magistrates Court.
He was additionally mandated to complete 120 hours of unpaid labor, participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities, and cover court costs of £85 along with a £154 surcharge.
Greally admitted to committing a public order offense by tossing what seemed to be a disposable coffee cup and another item at the leader of Reform UK in the center of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, on June 11.

Mr. Farage was actively campaigning from the upper level of his campaign bus when the items were hurled at him.
The video captured him evading the items thrown at him, none of which struck him.
Seven days prior, Mr. Farage was hit with a milkshake as he exited a Wetherspoons establishment in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, where he currently serves as the Member of Parliament.
