New standings in the F1 drivers' and teams' world championship after the 2024 British Grand Prix event.
Max Verstappen widened his advantage in the Formula 1 world championship to 84 points following a comeback performance at the British Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton claimed his initial win of the season, narrowing the margin to his Mercedes colleague George Russell to a mere point.
Following the British Grand Prix, Red Bull has extended their lead in the F1 constructors' championship to 71 points ahead of Ferrari. Meanwhile, McLaren has made gains in their pursuit of second place after Charles Leclerc experienced yet another disappointing race.
Mercedes securely hold the fourth position in the overall rankings. Meanwhile, in the battle for midfield dominance, Haas trails Red Bull by a mere four points for the sixth spot in the standings.
