**”Binder Battles Burnouts, Miller’s Grip Gamble: A Dramatic Aragon Doubleheader”**
Brad Binder exclaimed, "Once again, I found myself doing a rolling burnout!" Meanwhile, Jack Miller commented on being overtaken by Rins.
Brad Binder added, "I had a solid plan yesterday evening to avoid spinning at the start…"
Brad Binder had his most successful MotoGP weekend since the season began in Qatar, achieving 4th and 6th place finishes at Aragon.
This happened despite him losing control at the start in both races, although his seventh-place finish came from a better part of a messy starting position.
During the middle portion of the race, Binder trailed behind newcomer Pedro Acosta. This competition turned into a contest for third place after Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia clashed in front with 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained slightly beyond reach.
"I came up with a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning out at the start, and I did a rolling burnout just like I did the day before!" Binder said with a smile.
"I was able to navigate through and overtake several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors as the front tire was overheating due to following others, especially up until the final part of the race."
"I attempted to gain speed as I exited corners since I couldn't approach them too quickly due to the front tires overheating. However, this strategy backfired, leaving the left side of the tire completely worn out by the end."
“I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but there was no room left behind him!”
"Besides that, we took some very encouraging strides this weekend. We experimented with adjusting the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective over the course of the race."
Jack Miller, starting from 15th position, made an impressive start and climbed to eighth place by the end of the first lap. However, it wasn't long before the Australian rider faced issues with rear grip.
Having missed the ninth position to Alex Rins on the final lap, he was later one of three riders penalized with a 16-second penalty for tyre pressure violations, which pushed him down to 15th place.
"It was quite a lengthy race," Miller remarked. "The track conditions varied once more; it has been somewhat dirty throughout the weekend, but today it appeared even more slippery."
"I gave it my all. It was really challenging to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a major highside incident while exiting the final turn."
"I found my groove, focusing on maintaining control. There were several challenges when moving from the tire's edge to its center, but I managed to complete the run."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I found it difficult to keep up with the guys ahead of me. We'll continue to push forward."
"I'm pleased to finish in the top ten, but Rins managed to overtake me on the back straight during the final lap. I was trying my best to be accurate, but I didn't get a good acceleration, and he was able to pass me."
"We'll return to Misano in the future."
This weekend, KTM will have a total of five riders, thanks to the addition of test rider Pol Espargaro as a wild-card entry.
“Next, we will head to Misano, not only focusing on the race but also on the subsequent test. Pol’s wildcard entry will provide valuable insights for our future efforts,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial race of the Misano MotoGP series will commence with Binder trailing Acosta by three points, as Acosta currently stands fifth in the world championship rankings.
Miller, expected to be formally announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, is currently in 15th place, trailing Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo by three points.
