Following the incident, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards each other while in the gravel, though initially, it appeared they hadn't sustained serious injuries.
Marquez drifted off course while trying to hold onto third place, with just six laps left in the race
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely attached to the front of Marquez's bike.
The bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati while they were skidding.
However, he stood and motioned towards Marquez, indicating he was fine.
He left the scene with his leathers ripped and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the healthcare facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were observed strolling in the paddock area, no longer wearing their racing suits, and appearing to be unharmed.
Stewards are conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Martin's second-place finish at the Aragon MotoGP on Sunday has propelled him into the championship lead, now ahead by 23 points.
Marc Marquez emerged as the victor in the race.
