Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards each other in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it seemed they had not sustained serious injuries.
Marquez veered off track, holding onto third place with six laps left to go.
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted a pass.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely attached to the front end of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled as they veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped beneath Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
He stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He left, his leather attire scratched and damaged on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Half an hour after their accident, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling in the paddock area, no longer in their racing suits, and appeared to be without injuries.
Stewards are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP champion Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship front-runner, Jorge Martin.
Securing second place in Sunday's Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now taken a 23-point lead in the championship standings.
Marc Marquez emerged as the victor in the race.
