Alpine’s Vision of Sportiness: The 2025 Renault Scenic Transformation into the A390 E-Crossover
How about a Renault Scenic (2025) by Alpine? Here's a potential design
Alpine might opt for the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric as the groundwork for their new A390…
Alpine has been discussing the concept of a sporty crossover for some time. Over the recent months, we've even caught a glimpse of the initial testing units labeled A390, which may hit the market by the end of 2025.
It is confirmed that it will be entirely electric, but the design and technical foundation remain undefined. However, it's possible that Alpine might utilize the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric, the crossover that was recently named Car of the Year 2024, as its platform.

Building on this concept, our illustrative interpretation aims to visualize the potential design of the Scenic as an Alpine variant. Like the A290, which takes inspiration from the Renault 5, this version will stand out with a bold and assertive design, featuring pronounced aerodynamic elements that instantly highlight the sporty essence of the crossover.
The sharp design elements are expected to remain, but there's an opportunity for variation with the headlights. Alpine has the option to either borrow the sophisticated design cues from Renault or customize it to fit its brand identity by incorporating dual luminous components shaped like an X or a rectangle into the headlights, reminiscent of the teaser recently revealed by the brand.
Inside, the modifications are expected to be less dramatic, as much of the instrumentation is likely to be carried over from Renault.
According to the initial unconfirmed reports, the high-end model of the Alpine will feature a four-wheel-drive system and will be equipped with three engines – one located in the front and two in the rear.
It's anticipated that the battery will be 89 kWh in size, matching the more powerful variants of the Scenic E-Tech, while the total output might surpass the 435 horsepower of the Nissan Ariya Nismo, the Japanese electric SUV that shares its platform with Renault. However, the increased performance could lead to a decrease in driving range, potentially dropping from an estimated 700 km in the Scenic E-Tech to around 500 km.
