2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron Amps Up with More Power, Enhanced Range, and Standard Tech Luxuries

The 2025 Audi Q4 E-Tron, an electric SUV, has undergone notable upgrades, focusing on performance and battery life, after its mid-cycle refresh in 2024.

Audi has upgraded the single-motor, rear-wheel-drive variant with a power increase of 81 horsepower, bringing it up to 282 horsepower. This enhancement reduces the acceleration time for the car to reach 60 mph from a standstill to just 6.2 seconds, a 1.7-second improvement. Furthermore, modifications to the 82-kilowatt-hour battery, which effectively uses 77 kilowatt-hours, are expected to extend the driving range by an extra 23 miles. This would take the vehicle's range to an estimated 288 miles based on EPA's testing procedures. To reflect these advancements, the rear-wheel-drive version has been rebranded from Q4 40 E-Tron to Q4 45 E-Tron.

Upcoming 2025 Model of Audi Q4 E-Tron

The updates align with those made to the all-wheel-drive versions of the Q4 E-Tron during the latter half of the 2024 model year. Audi phased out the older Q4 50 E-Tron and introduced the upgraded 335-hp Q4 55 E-Tron, which also saw an increase in its estimated range to 258 miles. At that moment, Audi announced that modifications to the battery composition were expected to enhance charging speeds, and adjustments to the steering and suspension systems were designed to improve the vehicle's handling during dynamic driving situations.

The Sportback version of the Q4 E-Tron, which features a more streamlined, lower roofline, has been updated alongside the regular all-wheel-drive model. This variant remains exclusively equipped with the two-motor setup for the year 2025.

Upcoming Audi Electric Vehicle: The 2025 Q4 E

The Technology Package, which was once an optional add-on for the Q4 E-Tron models, will be included as a basic feature for the year 2025. This package incorporates the advanced Virtual Cockpit Plus, an in-built navigation system, and the ability to recognize traffic signs. Additionally, there's an available Cold Weather Package for models equipped with all-wheel drive, providing a heated windshield and a heat pump. This could potentially enhance the less-than-impressive range observed in earlier tests conducted in cold conditions.

The initial cost for the standard single-motor Q4 45 E-Tron Premium is set at $51,095, with this amount covering the compulsory $1,295 destination fee. An upgraded version, the Premium Plus, is on the market for $54,895. For the dual-motor Q4 55 E-Tron, the pricing varies with the model tier, starting at $56,495 for the Premium, $59,000 for the Premium Plus, and $63,095 for the Prestige. Opting for the Sportback design will increase the price tag by $3,000 for models equipped with all-wheel drive.
