Showdown in Philadelphia: Harris and Trump Face Off in Pivotal Presidential Debate
Harris and Trump Set for Crucial Pre-Election Debate
With the U.S. presidential election looming, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are slated to face off in a pivotal debate on Tuesday evening, occurring just weeks before voters head to the polls.
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and the Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, are set to face off in a debate on Tuesday. This pivotal event comes shortly after it prompted President Joe Biden to withdraw from the race a few weeks earlier.
ABC News' anchors David Muir and Linsey Davis will lead the event at the National Constitution Center, a private, nonprofit educational institution and museum in Philadelphia that focuses on the foundational document of the United States.
The South China Morning Post will maintain a live blog during the entire debate.
The discussion, scheduled to begin at 9pm ET and last for an hour and a half, provides the candidates an opportunity to establish a definitive lead in a race that is still too tight to predict.
