Showdown in Philadelphia: Harris and Trump Face Off in Pivotal Presidential Debate
Harris and Trump Gear Up for Crucial Pre-Election Debate
Vice-President Kamala Harris and ex-President Donald Trump are set to clash in a pivotal debate on Tuesday evening, with the presidential election just weeks away.
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate and former president, are set to debate on Tuesday. This significant event comes shortly after President Joe Biden decided to withdraw from the presidential race.
ABC News' "World News Tonight" host David Muir, along with anchor Linsey Davis, will lead the event at the National Constitution Center, a private non-profit educational center and museum in Philadelphia that focuses on America's founding document.
The South China Morning Post will maintain a live blog during the debate.
The discussion, scheduled to begin at 9pm Eastern Time and last for an hour and a half, provides the candidates an opportunity to establish a definitive advantage in a race that is still tightly contested.
