Max Verstappen's race engineer turns down offers from two Formula 1 competitors
Max Verstappen's race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, has turned down offers from both McLaren and Ferrari, according to our sources.
According to our sources, McLaren extended a job offer to Lambiase, but he turned it down.
Italian news outlets have recently indicated that Ferrari made an effort to lure Lambiase to their headquarters in Maranello.
Switching to Ferrari could have led to Lambiase taking on the role of Lewis Hamilton's race engineer in 2025.
However, Lambiase has dismissed both alternatives and continues to be wholeheartedly dedicated to Red Bull.
Since 2015, he has been a constant presence, offering guidance to the formidable Dutch driver Verstappen throughout his entire tenure at Red Bull.
Lambiase, who formerly held positions at Jordan, Midland, and Force India, has become an essential part of the successful Red Bull team and intends to remain with them to support their future endeavors.

Red Bull has recently seen the departure of several key individuals.
Jonathan Wheatley is set to transition from his role as sporting director to take on the position of Audi team principal. Additionally, renowned car designer Adrian Newey is also making a noteworthy departure.
Rob Marshall became a part of McLaren, and the company's CEO, Zak Brown, humorously mentioned that numerous resumes from Red Bull employees were arriving.
Nonetheless, Red Bull has managed to retain several key individuals, including Lambiase.
Engineers Paul Monaghan and Ben Waterhouse, along with aerodynamics chief Enrico Balbo and technical director Pierre Wache, have all signed fresh agreements.
Lambiase has decided to stay with Verstappen's team instead of being lured by the opportunity to collaborate with Hamilton during his forthcoming tenure at Ferrari.
