According to YouGov's initial polling forecast for the election, Sir Keir Starmer is on track to secure a landslide victory, potentially surpassing Tony Blair's 1997 majority with an estimated 194 seats.
The forecast indicates an unprecedented victory for the Labour Party, securing the most seats ever won by any party in an electoral event.
Simultaneously, the Conservative Party is attempting to enhance their public image by engaging in discussions about cultural conflicts, whereas the Labour Party is focusing on actual military conflicts and their defense strategies. Meanwhile, Nigel Farage has declared his candidacy for Reform UK.
On today's episode of Sky News Daily, host Niall Paterson is joined by Sky’s principal political correspondent, Jon Craig, to discuss the latest poll results and current events. Also joining the conversation is Scarlett Maguire, director at JL Partners, the polling firm responsible for the survey.
