The leading theoretical publication of the Communist Party has underscored the danger posed by "destructive" "foreign entities" attempting to sway the young minds of China, by sharing parts of a speech delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping, which was originally made six years prior.
In his address at the 2018 National Education Conference, Xi pointed fingers at certain groups for attempting to "Westernize" Chinese youth and orchestrate a "color revolution." He emphasized the importance of ideological education in schools.
