Xi Jinping’s 2018 Speech Exposed: A Call to Combat Western Influence and ‘Color Revolution’ in Chinese Education

He emphasized the importance of stepping up ideological education to counteract what he described as Western plots to instigate a 'color revolution' in China.
The leading theoretical publication of the Communist Party has emphasized the dangers posed by "destructive" "international entities" attempting to sway the young population of China. This was done through the publication of selected parts of a speech delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping six years earlier.
During his address at the 2018 National Education Conference, Xi Jinping criticized certain groups for attempting to "Westernize" Chinese youth and orchestrating a "color revolution." He emphasized the importance of incorporating ideological education into the curriculum.
