An individual who hurled objects at Nigel Farage while he was on the campaign trail has escaped a jail sentence.
Josh Greally, aged 28, received a six-week prison sentence, which was suspended for a year, at Barnsley Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He was additionally mandated to complete 120 hours of community service, participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities, and cover £85 in court fees along with a £154 surcharge.
Greally admitted to committing a public order violation by hurling what seemed to be a disposable coffee cup and another item at the leader of Reform UK in the center of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, on June 11.
