In the second practice session in Monaco, Charles Leclerc showcased an impressive performance, leading the pack with a sequence of outstanding laps. He finished the session with a 0.188-second advantage over Lewis Hamilton in FP2, marking the strongest showing for the seven-time world champion's Ferrari this year.
Aston Martin seemed to be in a favorable position as well, with Fernando Alonso recording the third quickest lap, surpassing Max Verstappen.

In the opening practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix, Hamilton led the way for Mercedes by recording the fastest time. The trend of impressive Friday showings for Mercedes persisted, with George Russell also securing a spot among the top three finishers.
Oscar Piastri showcased a remarkable performance, clinching the position between the first two racers, while Lando Norris secured the fourth quickest time. Leclerc impressed by finishing fifth with an impressive lap on medium tires, preceding the duo from Aston Martin. Yuju Tsunoda, Daniel Ricciardo, and Carlos Sainz completed the leading ten positions.
