Lando Norris recovered from an initial setback to take control and win the F1 Dutch Grand Prix, surpassing Max Verstappen.
Beginning the race in the foremost spot, Norris relinquished his front-runner status to Verstappen as they navigated the first corner.
This indicates that Norris has relinquished the lead in every race he has started from the front position – a total of six occurrences throughout his career.
Nonetheless, Norris wasn't discouraged, managing to secure an easy win at Zandvoort.

Piastri finishes in fourth place, surpassing Sainz, Perez, and the Mercedes pair, with Russell and Hamilton taking the seventh and eighth spots, respectively.
Gasly and Alonso secure the last available points for Alpine and Aston Martin, finishing ninth and tenth.
Norris crosses the finish line first to claim victory at the Dutch Grand Prix!
The McLaren driver delivered an impressive performance, securing a decisive win by a margin of 22 seconds ahead of Verstappen.
Leclerc successfully holds off Piastri to secure the third-place finish on the podium for Ferrari.
We're approaching the second-to-last lap, and Norris is clearly heading towards victory in this race.
On the 65th lap out of 72, Norris firmly holds the lead, smoothly heading for a win.
The driver from McLaren is further increasing his advantage ahead of Verstappen, now at a gap of 18 seconds.
The British racer is in a promising position, nearing his second triumph of the year, which would also mark the second grand prix win in his career.
As we reached the 60th lap out of 72, Piastri began to narrow the distance between himself and Leclerc once more. The difference in their positions is currently fluctuating around a second.
Is a last-minute battle for the third-place finish on the cards?
On the 56th out of 72 laps, Mercedes has brought Russell in for his second pit stop, opting for soft tyres similar to his teammate Hamilton's strategy.
He has given up his spot on the track to Sainz (who was rapidly closing in on him) and to Perez.
Mercedes evidently believes that Russell has the capability to close the 17-second distance to Perez and overtake the Red Bull racer.
On the 52nd lap out of 72, Hamilton indeed records the quickest lap time in the race, clocking in at 1 minute and 13.883 seconds. As it currently stands, he is in line to secure an additional point.
The chances of him catching up to Perez, who is 23 seconds ahead on the track from the Mercedes driver, are extremely slim.
On the 49th lap out of 72, Hamilton heads into the pits for his second stop of the race, opting for a change to soft tyres.
Taking a risk was a sensible choice since he had a complimentary pit stop with Hulkenberg significantly lagging. Thus, he maintains his eighth position.
Hamilton has the opportunity to gain an additional point should he achieve the quickest lap time.
On lap 47 out of 72, following two unsuccessful tries in the preceding laps, Sainz outmaneuvers Perez during a braking maneuver into Turn 1, securing the sixth position from the Red Bull competitor.
On the 45th lap out of 72, Verstappen has once again voiced his concerns over the radio regarding the condition of his tyres.
"The Red Bull racer mentions that the tyres on the left-hand side are problematic once more, lacking traction."
He's falling further behind Norris, with the gap to his primary competitor now almost 12 seconds.
On the 41st lap out of 72, Stroll has incurred a five-second penalty for exceeding the speed limit in the pit lane.
Video reviews indicate that the driver of the Aston Martin did not reduce his speed enough while applying the brakes at the entrance to the pit lane.
This seriously dampens Stroll's prospects of finishing in the points today.
On the 40th of 72 laps, Piastri is making remarkable progress, taking full advantage of his new tires to move past Russell into fourth position.
On the 34th lap out of 72, Piastri makes a pit stop to change his tires, losing first place in the process. The Australian driver reenters the race in fifth position, with his sights set on catching up to Russell. #F1 #DutchGP

Verstappen trails Norris by seven seconds, while Leclerc holds the third position, leading in front of Russell, Piastri, Perez, Sainz, and Hamilton.
Hulkenberg and Magnussen, driving for Haas, currently occupy positions within the top 10, although Hulkenberg has not made a pit stop yet.
On the 28th lap out of 72, McLaren decides to pit Norris in the upcoming lap to respond to Verstappen's recent pit stop.
Norris reenters the race approximately five seconds in front of Verstappen, securing the fourth position.
On the 27th lap out of a total of 72, Verstappen makes a pit stop while
He switches to hard tires and reenters the race in fifth position, almost 30 seconds adrift of Norris.
On the 25th lap out of 72, Russell heads into the pits from the third position, becoming the first among the frontrunners to do so.
Russell re-enters the race in the ninth position, trailing behind Leclerc, who had pitted the lap before.
Meanwhile, Norris keeps increasing his lead over Verstappen, now at 5.5 seconds, while Verstappen keeps expressing frustrations about his vehicle.
Hamilton made a pit stop to switch from his soft tyres, following a decrease in speed after an unsuccessful attempt to overtake Gasly.
He's transitioned to hard tires and has re-entered the race in 16th position.
Lap 22: Initially facing challenges in pulling away from Verstappen's DRS range, Norris has now managed to create a comfortable three-second lead ahead of the Dutch driver.
Lap 18: Incredible!
All of a sudden, Norris manages to close in on Verstappen, who is having trouble with his tyres, and passes the reigning world champion on the main straight.
The McLaren racer has reclaimed the top position at the Dutch Grand Prix!
