Jack Miller’s MotoGP Future: A Gresini Ducati Lifeline Emerges Amidst 2025 Rider Market Shuffle
Could Jack Miller be making a comeback to Ducati through Gresini Racing?
A pathway back to Ducati for Jack Miller may have emerged with the Gresini Racing squad.
The rider lineup for the 2025 MotoGP season remains largely unsettled, with numerous leading competitors yet to confirm their plans.
Following the recent race at Mugello, racers Marc Marquez, Jorge Martin, Maverick Vinales, and Enea Bastianini have each signed agreements with different teams.
Marquez is set to join the official Ducati team, partnering with Francesco Bagnaia, as Martin takes the lead role in Aprilia's refreshed roster.
Bastianini and Vinales are the latest additions to KTM, forming a completely new team composition at Tech 3, equipped with fully factory-supported motorcycles.
However, for numerous competitors who have achieved considerable triumphs in MotoGP, what lies ahead for them is still uncertain.
Marco Bezzecchi appears poised to be the next major name to make a move, as he is expected to team up with Martin at Aprilia.
At Honda, it appears that Joan Mir is poised to sign a new contract, an unexpected development, as the intrigue around potentially introducing Toprak Razgatlioglu to MotoGP remains strong.
Yet, there's a rider whose presence remains underappreciated, that being Miller. The Australian is poised to switch to a different manufacturer by 2025.
Initially, Honda seemed like a probable choice for him, but according to GPOne, a comeback to Ducati is now being suggested.
Miller is considered a potential candidate for Gresini Ducati as they seek a replacement for the departing Marc Marquez.
Certainly, Pramac's decisions could play a significant role in shaping Ducati's team configuration.
Should Pramac continue its partnership with Ducati, it's probable that Fermin Aldeguer will fill one of the available positions, potentially beside the present racer, Franco Morbidelli.
Miller appears to be leaning towards joining Gresini instead of Pramac, regardless of whether they remain with Ducati or switch to Yamaha equipment.
